Liverpool four-piece Courting have released their new single, ‘We Look Good Together (Big Words)’, which features guest production from acclaimed London electronic duo DJ Sabrina The Teenage DJ. It’s a theatrical, sonically explorative track that sees the band continue their explorations with funky pop and love song lyrics. The band’s new album, New Last Name, is due for release on January 26th, 2024 via Lower Third. This track is described as “a love song, plain and simple. It’s the opening part of the main theatrical narrative of New Last Name. Titles fall, the scene is set, and the band starts to play.” The album is tied together by a narrative thread that lets their most contained pop songs and strangest experiments sit side by side. -Dan Peeke
